Essentially what President Trump is saying is we told you we are not going to negotiate until you open up the federal government. They have their start to their proposal. They’re just waiting for Democrats to open up the federal government. Rhe reason why are now being called to open up is very interesting and it has to do with this. Flight Delays Are Getting Out of Control:-
So that pilot has no clue how long it’s going to take to get off the ground. All he knows is, hey, we’re on the plane. But we’re seeing airports like Dallas, there’s long delays.It’s not just here on the West Coast either. It’s on the East Coast as well. But look at this right here. This government shutdown as of tomorrow is going to be tied for the longest shutdown in history. As of Wednesday, this would be the longest shutdown in the US history. Well, this is why it’s creating a new deadline is because this means SNAP benefits are only going to be funded at 50%. Well, look at this.This sets a new deadline for the shutdown. This means that people are gonna probably start getting their money over the next probably few days to maybe the next week or so, which means that’s going to put us back about two weeks. Well, if we look at a calendar, just to give you an idea, today is Monday, November 3rd. So, if we look for two weeks, that puts us to Monday, November 17th. That’s when everyone should be getting their benefits.

You know theoretically, but they’re going to get about two weeks worth of benefits. That is a critical date simply because of two things. Number one, SNAP benefits would need to be re-uped and we don’t have the money to do it. The second thing is this is right before the peak holiday season. Thanksgiving travelers will be traveling that week and if we don’t see the government reopen and these hundreds of thousands of people get paid, this is going to be an absolute mess going into Thanksgiving and into December. But again, that’s the good news is it looks like somewhere between the 17th and 24th is the next deadline for when we could see the federal government finally reopen.
